Simply drag in external destinations, like folders on a NAS share or external drive, and let Baccus figure out the rest.
Baccus is always running, managing your backups using schedules you define. Baccus detects if you've plugged in a backup destination, or if you've got connection to your network storage, and Baccus deals with the rest.
Backup your home folder and any other local folders. Easily exclude unwanted or private data from your backups.
Simply search for a file name, and have the ability to restore a previous version of your file. Baccus will search any available destination using advanced heuristics, making the process quick and painless.
By design, we also ensure that all files can be easily restored outside of Baccus, simply by browsing the destination folder structure in Finder.

Imagine arriving at work and, without lifting a finger, have your computer start backing up your files.
Simply connect to your network, or plug in your external drive, and Baccus will start syncing to your backup destination straight away. Baccus will even automatically mount your NAS shares!
We use our own high performance sync engine, built to take full advantage of your storage to ensure a quick and efficient backup.
Baccus out-performs Time Machine by more than 15x when using an external SSD, and is more than 30% faster using NAS or spinning hard disk drive.
Baccus versus Time Machine testing was performed copying a 40GB home folder from a MacBook Pro 13” with Retina Display equipped with a on-board SSD boot volume running OSX 10.11 El Capitan. Local performance was measured backing up to an external Samsung T1 SSD connected via USB3.0. NAS testing was performed backing up to an AFP network share via Gigabit Ethernet.

From the moment you log into your computer, Baccus is working hard to ensure your files are backed up.
